Insured Post and Packaging
UK UK - £6 per order
All items are sent flat packed unless specifically requested otherwise. Obviously mounted and framed prints are flat anyway but it also applies to loose prints. In general we do not like rolling up any print. Our experience is that more prints are damaged by being rolled up and put in/taken out of tubes than through any other cause. Prints that have been kept rolled up in a tube for years can be impossible to ever get flat, and we have seen many valuable prints damaged by being taken in and out of tubes repeatedly
Overseas
Please call or drop us an email. We will calculate the lowest possible shipping rates based on the size, weight, value and urgency of your order. You can still order online - we will add the agreed shipping amount to your order. All loose prints are sent in stout tubes unless specifically requested. We would prefer to post flat as we do for UK customers, however we appreciate that the cost may be prohibitive. We are not able to ship framed prints overseas. We could ship mounted prints but in practice the extra postage costs are likely to work out more than ordering a loose print and having it mounted at your local framer.
Delivery Schedules
Under normal circumstances we aim to ship loose prints within 4 working days of receiving an order and mounted or framed prints within 7 working days. In practice for most orders it is quicker than that, usually within 2 and 5 working days respectively. If for any reason there is a delay, for example if an item is out of stock, then we will let you know and give you the option to change or cancel your order. If you need an item quickly, for example for a birthday or a presentation, then let us know when you order, using the ‘Comments’ option in the shopping cart, and we will give your order priority if possible.
Accepting Delivery of Parcels
Your delivery is insured. However for the insurance to be valid it is important that you examine the parcel carefully before signing for it. You do not have to unwrap it but if there are any external indications of damage such as holes, bending or signs of having been wet, then make a note of this against your signature so it is put on record with the delivery company.
